Work Experience and Clinical Skills

With I have broad experience in General Cardiology and Heart failure Management. I am presently working as Associate consultant of cardiology in Heart failure speciality at Fortis Hospital, Bangalore, Involved in all inpatient and outpatient care of Heart failure Patients including Emergencies.

Recently worked as Honorary clinical fellow in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation at Papworth Hospital, UK, gained good experience in Advanced Heart Failure Management and Assessment, follow up of heart transplantation patients.

I worked as a senior Clinical Fellow at Homerton University Hospital, London,Particular reference to the delivery and development of the Homerton Heart Failure Service, which Includes the running of Homerton Ultrafiltration Service and provision of Homerton contribution to the National Heart Failure Audit run by NICOR, Running Heart Failure clinic twice a week, mainly heart failure patients' evaluation and management.

I got training in Ultra filtration and Monitoring Ultra Filtration for diuretic resistant heart failure and who has cardio renal syndrome. MDT meeting with community heart failure team of four community heart failure team. Weekly once I have scheduled teaching for medical students.

At Columbia Asia Hospital, Bangalore: Worked as Non-invasive Consultant Cardiologist and looking after all cardiology critically ill patients and ward patients. Echo list every day. Stress Echocardiogram. I was one of the member clinical research committee, use to attend monthly meeting and take part in clinical decision.

At Royal Free Hospital, London, I worked at the capacity of cardiology registrar, I had 1:10 on call rota, covering primary PCI call, management of the acute cardiology ward and CCU, weekly twice independent rounds along with juniors. I also had teaching session to medical students weekly once.

Got training in Echocardiogram, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Stress ECHO, Cath lab work, and Cardioversion.

Assisted as second operator in all primary PCI and elective angiogram. Temporary pacemaker insertion and PPM. I have also assisted TOE. I also gained experience in DC cardio version and able to do DC cardio version independently. Learned to do Echocardiogram, and able to do independently in acute cardiology ward patients who need urgent assessment. Learned stress ECHO Contrast echo techniques.
